sweetsouthernnights: Ten years from now, one of my most distinct memories of my & Tuck’s first summer in this house will be “camping” in the backyard. The feeling of trekking down to the water with a bunch of quilts, pillows, and flashlights. Me, giggling all the while about what the neighbors must think to see our tent just a mere 50 feet from our home. Rushing inside in the morning to cook breakfast and then bringing everything out in travel mugs and on paper plates. My only hope is that ten years from now when I’m thinking back on these nights it will be while we are doing the exact same thing- plus a few more pillows and tugging some little blue eyed rugrats beside us.
